Is there a list of collectable coins?
Most bookstores carry a book titled “A Guide Book to United States Coins” It is nicknamed “The Redbook” It is updated and issued yearly. It is now in it’s 63rd edition. It is the first book you should buy if interested in coins. The book lists retail prices. The prices listed are what a buyer would expect to pay for a coin. Dealers will pay less than the prices in the guide.
