Is there a limit on the maximum number of foreign nationals foreign companies can hire in Taiwan?
According to the guidelines governing the employment of foreign nationals with specialized skills and Article 13 of the Guidelines Governing the Approval and Management of the Overseas and Foreign Companies, the Investment Commission of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) will determine the number of foreign nationals employed based on the business area, business scale, employment plan, operational efficiency and its contribution to the development of the domestic economy.
