I’ve answered several of your questions. Yes, there are quite a few top contributors that are arrogant snobs with low self-confidence or self-esteem problems, but I’m not one of them. I suspect that some of us who lived through the PC revolution and who grew up(?) before calculators first became available and all math had to be done by hand on paper or in your hand feel like that the younger generation are getting lazy by depending on the web so much. Yes, I worry about that too, especially when some one who was in the fifth grade told me she doesn’t see why she has to understand how to do basic arithmetic because of calculators eight years ago. The thought that she is a high – school junior, senior, or graduate now really bothers me at times.
