Is there a legitimate place for Christian singles to meet members of the opposite sex on the Internet?
Rich Tatum: It happens, and it happens legitimately, and it happens among some couples with great integrity. I don’t doubt it. I would say be very careful about it because of all the baggage that the Internet brings to these kinds of relationships. You know, you have to really, really be on guard and have mental discipline to insure that you don’t cross inappropriate boundaries online and respect the other person to the utmost degree. I would say that the Internet is great at introducing people to each other, but it’s not real good at building healthy intimacy in the absence of real relationships.
