A51 There is no such law. Sorry. (Posted on 28 March 2003) [Index] [Compiled by Law Offices of Rajiv S Khanna] Q52 I have got my H-1 approval on 7 Feb,2003. I have yet to get my H-1 visa stamp on my passport. Is there a time limit within which to get the visa stamp Or can I stay in US indefinately but have to get a visa stamp only when I go abroad? A52 Yes. You can stay without a visa stamp, but ONLY if you have received a new I-94 with your H-1 approval. (Posted on 31 March 2003) [Index] [Compiled by Law Offices of Rajiv S Khanna] Q53 I have a friend who got a student visa to come to US. He completed his Masters in one yesr and got a H1 done . He has changed 3 employers till now. And had valid H1 thoughout. He hasnt been to india to get his H1 stamped. Do you see any issues if he goes to India to get his visa stamped. Will they object that why did he not get his H1 stamped earlier please advice.
