Is there a law against a daughter not taking care of her sick parents?

Although the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents & Senior Citizens Bill, 2007 has been passed by both houses of the Parliament but it is on the individual States to enforce by notifying in the Official Gazette. In the State where the old parents reside now if this Act has been officially has been enforced or not has to be checked. Presently there is provision for destitute Parents to claim Maintenance from their children (any sons or daughters including married daughters) under section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
