The first few firmware revisions of the SGII did in fact have KPL as this was the metric equivalent of MPG used in the USA. Many users of the SGII in metric based countries asked Linear Logic (the manufacturer) if they could have the more widely used LHK gauge added, so Linear Logic replaced KPL with LHK. Some time ago we asked Linear Logic if the KPL gauge can be added back in to the SGII but unfortunately it is not possible as the firmware of the SGII cannot support both gauges at this time.
