There is no Japanese version of our book reviews. However, there is a Japanese version of the Special Themes top (index) page. Special Themes book reviews also provide the book title and photographer’s name in Japanese kanji characters to make it easier for you to find the book in a Japanese bookstore. Brief comments in Japanese are also inserted in the book reviews. Many personal computers can now display Japanese even with an English operating system. So we are taking steps to incorporate more Japanese kanji characters in PhotoGuide Japan where it would be most useful for people who can read Japanese. It’s also good for people studying Japanese. (2002.11.30) Explain the book review format for Special Themes books. The book review format is explained in detail in the Help pages. Just click on the Help icon on the book review page. The relevant Help page will then pop up in a small window.
