Is there a Jackson Browne biography?
There was an UNofficial biography released in 1982. The author was Rich Wiseman. The title was Story Of A Holdout. The book has been out of print for more than 25 years and is VERY hard to find. Try a used book store; some have search services. Also, check your library. Jackson Browne is a very private individual and would like his fans to respect his privacy. The book was NOT authorized by him and Jackson feels that the author got his interviews in an unethical manner. (Because of this, you would be wise not to mention the book to him.) A newer UNauthorized biography was released in May 2005. Jackson Browne: His Life And Music was written by Mark Bego. Again, this book was NOT authorized by Jackson Browne or his management.
