The most telling from the DDS point would be his or her ability to generate a financially successful practice which requires among other things a “good” personality and people skills. I have known DDS that were exceptional in their practice skills and abilities but because of personality issues and lack of people skills were never able to develop a high income practice and that, in dentistry, generally boils down to referrals and word of mouth reputation. The CRNA on the other hand isn’t faced with the same level of required people skills or personality.
