Is there a home remedy for the body aches and pains from allergies?
All kinds, Boy, you are in luck! Actually, without knowing what type of allergies and the areas of the aches and pains, you kind of tie my hands. I am afraid to offer advice as to over the counter medications as I am unaware of your allergies. I can offer advice as to preparations of warm compresses to use on joints and muscles with nothing more than water, a towel and a microwave or large pan of hot water. You can make warm compresses out of these ingredients; especially helpful if you live in a cold climate. I make a compress for sinus allergies that I find very effective. I do add eucalyptus or menthol to the water or under my nose in a petroleum preparation, but I have no allergy to either of these. I place the compress over the bridge of my nose, forehead and eyes. Allow it to cool and if I am still awake, repeat. A hot steamy shower feels great as well. When sick I could care less about saving water; horrible, but honest.
