Is there a Hindu god of emotional strength or something along those lines?

Given the limitations of the perceptive abilities of the body and mind it is not possible for humans to comprehend the Supreme Reality. Ancient Hindu seers offered a solution for this in the form of a multitude of gods. Wherever you turn, whatever you do there is a god or goddess associated with the act. From that stand point, if were looking for strength to protect from abuse – Goddess Durga may be appropriate. If you are looking for someone to remove the obstacle – then Hindu God Ganesha fits that image. Lord Krishna represents love and relationship. But if you were looking for one God to represent emotional resilience (in my opinion) it would Lord Ram.
