Is there a higher cost for a higher detail (zoomed in view) map?

In rural areas pricing is almost always based on print size and not by the square mile. If you want to see more square miles on your map, you can either get a bigger print size, or choose a scale with more ground distance per map inch (see scale table). In urban areas, contact us for a quote.
