Is there a half-time program available for applicants unable to attend on a full time basis?
The Faculty of Law will accept applications from those who wish to take the LL.B. degree but cannot commit to full time studies due to health concerns, family commitments, financial necessity or special occupational involvement. The Half Time LL.B. program entails taking the regular LL.B. program over no more than six (6) years rather than over the three (3) years of which the full time program is composed. The Half Time program is not a part-time, evening, weekend, correspondence, or external program; half time refers to half the load of courses of a full time law student. This means that Half Time applicants must be able and prepared to attend classes at various times throughout each day of the week, Monday to Friday, from the day after Labour Day in September until the following April in each year.
