There are currently two complimentary processes in place to promote quality care for the Out of School Hours Care Sector. The National Standards are Commonwealth standards, developed through the Department of Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaCSIA). In addition to the National Standards which sets out the minimum in care requirements, the Commonwealth has also developed the Out of School Hours Quality Assurance (OSHCQA) process.
