Is there a good, simple way to integrate CVP analysis with job-order costing?
I’ve put together some basic CVP analysis at my company. My next step is to put together a job costing system so that we can determine the profitability of each project. I haven’t seen a nice way of tying variable costs into a job costing process, but it would be nice to integrate the existing CVP work. Does anyone know of a way of doing this? By the way, my company is an technology service company in which each project is unique.
