Of course there are recipes for non-spicy wings! You can have your wings any way you like them. This here recipe makes Orange Glazed Chicken Wings…yum yum =) 12 whole chicken wings 1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce 2 teaspoons honey 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Place a 6-quart saucepan with a steamer basket and 1 inch of water in the bottom, over high heat, cover and bring to a boil. Remove the tips of the wings and discard or save for making stock. Using kitchen shears, or a knife, separate the wings at the joint. Place the wings into the steamer basket, cover, reduce the heat to medium and steam for 10 minutes. Remove the wings from the basket and carefully pat dry. Lay the wings out on a cooling rack set in a half sheet pan lined with paper towels and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. These are very good and simple also. Not hot and spicey as the name may imply. BBQ Party Wings Ingredients: • 2 pounds Chicken Wings (folded) • 1 Bottle Demon Pig BBQ Sauce • Demon Pig BBQ Rub • Spray Margarine Directions: Rinse and dry wings, folding and locking tip. Spray wings with pump spray margarine and coat with Demon Pig BBQ Rub. Bake on sheet pan 45 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Remove to crock pot or covered baking dish. Coat with Demon Pig BBQ Sauce and cook for one hour on high. Reduce to low, stir and serve. To finish in conventional oven – bake at 350 degrees, when covered and sauced. Reduce heat to 250 to finish. Notes: Any flavor of Demon Pig Sauce works with this recipe. Blaze Orange is my favorite.

I make non spicy wings for my daughter and she loves them. I cut the wings into 3 parts – I discard the tips or save them for stock by freezing them. Cook or fry the wings til crispy. I cook mine in the oven at 350F for about 20 minutes (flip them over after 10 minutes and continue cooking for another 10) on a sheet pan. I make up a sauce of a non spicy store bought BBQ sauce that my daughter likes – honey bbq – and add almost an equal amount of honey to it. When the wings are done, I put them in a glass or metal bowl (don’t want to melt plastic with hot wings), and coat them with the sauce. I then put them back in the oven for another 5 minutes. You can also adapt the sauce by adding a lil teriyaki or soy sauce to it, orange marmalade, a splash of juice, etc.
