Is there a good central location to stay in NYC?
Hi! I’m going to NYC in a few weeks and I’m wondering, is there a good central area to stay in (meaning hotel)? At first I was thinking someplace near Central Park but now I’m thinking perhaps someplace around the Chelesa or Theater district. Thanks! 🙂 A: Theater district is good because you are in walking distance to Times Square and in a central location to take the subway to any other place you’d like to visit and go to. I always stay at the Hampton Inn on 51st and 8th, its perfect walking distance and central location for subway access. Hope that helps. Just know that anywhere in these locations will be expensive. If it is cheapter near Central Park, then you are not too far from things there either. Everything is easily accesible via subway no matter where you stay really. Go on hotels.com or if you have marriott or Hilton rewards this is a good time to use them!
