Unfortunately, the best book out there about Accounts Payable is a little pricey. “Accounts Payable: A Guide to Running an Efficient Department ” by Mary S. Schaeffer is the best. Schaeffer has long been recognized as an expert in the field. However, the book is 112.00 dollars. Used it’s merely 110.00–WOW, what a difference. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/product-description/0471636908/ref=dp_proddesc_0?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books So, a second and less expensive option is “Essentials of Accounts Payable” by the same author. You get a lot of the same info, but at a more affordable price–20.97 + s/h new, or 18.97 used. Another big savings to order used. http://www.amazon.com/Essentials-Accounts-Payable-Mary-Schaeffer/dp/047120
