Is there a general operator license for all types of wastewater systems?
A. No. Wastewater operators must be licensed at a class appropriate to their education and experience. Additionally, those wastewater operators functioning in the role of responsible charge operator must be licensed at a class equal to or greater than the classification of the system they are operating.
