Is there a future for free diving competitions?
Rather we like it or not, the “No Limit”category is not about sport, it is an extreme human adventure. Considered as a sport, this category will for sure call for other casualties And as history repeats itself, free diving will be banned for a while before that, as the phoenix rising from its ashes, it will be brought back to life again. On the other hand, providing that we accept to redefine the concept of the competitions now in place, free diving as a sport can still offer a wonderful underwater activity for many lovers of the sea. My vision of the sport would not be based on pure depth and yet would attract lots of people in the Sea. But is too soon to expose it to the world, those who set the rules of these competitions would not be ready to listen to this concept yet. But I have faith, and I am convinced it is just a matter of time.
