Is there a free, easy to use, animation software?
I would say that animation software is one of the things in life where you shouldn’t strive for ease of use. Easy animation packages will normally cause you endless headaches during production and limit your work. Blender is definitely the best free 3D/2D animation tool in the business. I use it all the time. However, it is not very easy to use at first, but there are a lot of good beginner tutorials out there which will help a lot. Check out some examples of what other beginners have created with it in a short timespan and you’ll be amazed. Go to the wiki page for a full set of tutorials.
