Is there a formula or stradegy to playing the Mega Millions?
PRETEND that there were a way to give you a 5% edge over everyone else in the world at playing any sort of lottery game. (I say pretend, because there’s no way you’ll ever gain even that much of an edge.) Even then, lottery still would NOT be worth playing. Lotteries start with a 50% take for the state! You can’t overcome those odds with any strategy or program! In other words, for every $100,000 that the lottery takes in, they only pay back $50,000 to winning tickets! Again – let’s say you get there advantage down by even 5% – which would be amazing – they STILL would have a 45% edge over you!!! The worst casino games in the whole world will have MAYBE a 10-15% edge on them! Lottery is quite simply the worst bet you could ever make. ********* With that said – if you MUST play, buy just 1 or 2 tickets per week at the most.
