Is there a foreign language requirement for Associate in Arts degree?
There is no foreign language required for the AA degree. However, students seeking admission to any of the 11 state universities will need to satisfy a foreign language entrance requirement by completing two years of the same foreign language in high school or by taking two semesters of the same foreign language at the community college. Students should be aware that there may be a foreign language graduation requirement for certain majors. Students should speak with a counselor to determine whether or not they will need to complete foreign language courses while at SFCC.
