Is there a fee involved for weddings at Gesu Parish?
Yes, the fee helps defray the cost of the services of marriage preparation, the clergy, the musician, the liturgy assistant, the sacristan, as well as the cost of utilities such as heat, air-conditioning and electricity. There are two fee schedules at Gesu, one for parishioners and another for non-parishioners. The parishioner rate for a wedding is set in order to honor the commitment of participating, contributing members to the parish community. Normally speaking, the parishioner rate applies to those who have been registered and actively participating members for at least six months prior to scheduling.
