Is there a fee for the Mandarin Immersion Program?
The Mandarin Immersion Program is part of Portland Public Schools, so no tuition is required for 1st through 5th grade. Because Woodstock Elementary is not a Title I school, a monthly tuition is required only for the full-day kindergarten year. This is because Oregon State funding can only subsidize a half day of kindergarten instruction. The tuition pays for the second half of the school day. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions about Fee-for-Service Kindergarten for more information. Scholarships are based on eligibility and availability. Please find detailed information on the Fee-for Service Kindergarten page.
