Is there a dress code for clinical activities?
Standards for Clinical Dress and Appearance Policy & Procedure Students have clinical experiences in a wide variety of settings. Students must recognize that they represent not only themselves but UMKC School of Nursing and the nursing profession as a whole. Although some settings allow a more relaxed dress code, the School of Nursing standards for dress and appearance are more conservative so that it is acceptable in all settings. Individual courses may vary slightly at the discretion of the faculty.
