Is there a dominant online restaurant review website for London?
I wouldn’t say they compete – they can actually compliment each other as they’re useful for different things. I use www.london-eating.co.uk the most because it has a huge database of restaurants, including little local ones, and they have links to professional reviews (from newspapers, magazines, etc) and bloggers reviews on a lot of the popular restaurants so you can get a lot of opinions without skipping about all over the place. The special offers are good too. toptable is my personal favourite for restaurant bookings, because it’s easy to use, runs great special offers and you can collect points to use on a free meal or a cookery book. What do you mean by ‘incomplete’? If you mean missing restaurants, then you can email most of them and mention anywhere they’ve missed. london-eating are always happy to add anywhere they’ve overlooked.
