Is there a discrepancy to the time guidelines laid out on pg. 20 of the Competition Manual and pages 109-110 of timekeeper instructions?
Page 20 is supplied as only a suggested framework. It is not intended to be a requirement, directive or prescriptive as to how a team should divide up its time. It is advisory. This year, with the running clock, a team has complete flexibility to use its 20 minute direct examination time and 18 minute cross examination time to suit its strategy and/or team needs.
