Is there a different deadline for letters of recommendation?
Technically all supporting documents must be received by the Office of Graduate Admissions on the December 1st deadline, including letters of recommendation. When registering a recommender on-line they will receive instructions to submit their recommendation by your department’s deadline. While you will not be directly penalized as an applicant if one or more of your recommenders do not submit their on-line recommendation byDecember 1st, you should encourage them to do so in order to ensure that they are processed in time to receive full consideration.
