Is there a difference in propane gas?

Other gases can be mixed with propane, like butane, methane, and others. That is normally called Liquid Petroleum Gas. I am not familiar with the Walmart brand, but it is possible that different brands use different mixtures of gases. I would think pure propane would be more expensive than propane that was not distilled carefully enough to remove lighter and/or heavier gases. They all burn, but possibly at different rates. I can’t say for certain that this is the cause, but it is possible. I hope this helps.
