Yes Certainly there is. Most Jewish homes in Westchester County are owned by a Texas-based conglomerate. Zion is the only independently owned Jewish funeral home in Westchester. Zion Memorial Chapel serves ONLY the Jewish community unlike local non-sectarian funeral homes that adapt their facilities to the Jewish faith when the need arises. Zion was expressly built as a separate private Jewish facility.
