The assemblies are the same but the difference is in the filters. The Austin Air HealthMate has a True Medical HEPA filter surrounded by a carbon/zeolite mixture which adsorbs odors and gases. The Austin Air Allergy Machine has a HEGA filter. The HEGA is comprised of a True Medical HEPA filter along with a outside of advanced military carbon cloth designed to absorbs odors and gases.
