Is there a difference between Stingray City and Stingray City Sandbar?
There are two areas where the rays congregate. One is normally referred to as Deep Stingray City; it is in water about 12 feet deep and mostly used by divers. The other is Stingray City Sandbar; this is three to four feet deep (depending on the tides and time of year). Both are also referred to as only Stingray City. With this in mind read your tour information carefully to make sure you are getting what you want. If in question ASK.
