Is there a difference between regular check in procedure having traditional paper tickets and check-in with an e-ticket?
Unlike paper tickets, where the flight coupons are withdrawn from your ticket subsequently one after another for which he/she is issued a boarding card, to check in with an e-ticket, the passenger usually comes to the check-in counter and presents only the confirmation or reservation code. In some airlines it’s not even necessary to present the code, as the reservation is confirmed solely upon the passenger’s identity. After confirming the reservation, the passenger checks-in his/her luggage and is given a boarding pass. There are also convenient online check-ins.
