Is there a difference between Monty Python and Little Britain?
Hiya, The difference or lack of is widely debateable – Let’s start with ”Monty Python” Series. This style of comedy was considered among many adults at the time of it’s first viewing to be Rude, Disrepectful of many of the standards then held to be the NORM for a modern respectable society, Anarchic, and very, very loud in showing potentially upsetting points of view (Views normally held by the younger generation – TEENS), oh and it was also somewhat rebellious against the state (Politics of the day), The cast/writers were also very graphically against CENSORSHIP, especially if they thought it was funny. It’s style of humour was groundbreaking in the form that, many subjects were viewed, that were at the time only seen or discussed at ADULT ENTERTAINMENT establishments – such as Strip Clubs, Men’s Clubs where adult material or humour was regularly seen -Either live or in/on some sort of media, or in RED LIGHT Districts – Bringing this type of entertainment to the masses so to speak w
