Yes, there is a difference between mNotes and mobilesync. mNotes is the single user version of the software and does not provide the mobile synchronisation options so you can only synchronise via your PC. mobilesync utilises the corporate version of mNotes through a product called mSuite. mSuite offers a lot more than the standard mNotes licence. It offers mobile synchronisation, sametime chat, centralised upgrades, automatic wiping of smartphones if/when they are stolen and much more. If you want to synchronise your smartphone away from your desk, then mobilesync is the service for you.
