Is there a difference between counselling and psychotherapy?
(A). In practice the differences are a bit blurred. In general we could say though “counselling” is more about giving sound advice, while psychotherapy is more about asking people questions so that they can find their own insights and solutions. In practice, therapists/counsellors go back and forth between these two approaches.
