Is there a difference between BOOKING and RESERVATION in both airline and hotel business?!
Practically interchangeable, but some people in the UK tend to use the word reservation for rooms and tables in restaurants. For example:- Good evening I have a reservation for a double room, and I’d like to reserve a table for dinner. But we use booking for transport and reservation for individual seats. For example:- I booked a return ticket to Edinburgh and I have a seat reservation in business class.
