Is there a difference between bathroom and kitchen tiles?
Any tile can be used on a kitchen backsplash or a bathroom wall. A particular design such as a fruit or vegetable pattern may be better suited for the kitchen. Some tiles are designed to be used only on the wall, while others may be used on walls or floors. Most floor tiles have a satin finish. Some that are good for bathroom floors may not hold up well when installed on the kitchen floor or foyer areas. These areas require a tile with a harder finish.
