Is there a difference between a construction contract and a contractors agreement?
A. No, they are merely different names for the same type of document. Both a construction contract and a contractor’s agreement refer to an agreement that occurs between an owner of real property and any type of contractor or subcontractor, such as a painter, plumber, carpenter, etc. So while you may both see and hear these different names being used, they are nevertheless both referring to a contract or an agreement between a property owner and a contractor for some type of construction job.
