I don’t think there is so much a fear of the knowledge, only in portraying it. I think well learned people will still talk and act like uneducated people because that is the hip and accepted way to speak and act. They actually dumb themselves down in public.

 Specific to a person it may be but given the incredible amout of college students that inroll each year any fear would have to relatively low.
