Teams must be ranked in the Top 20 in order to make the Football Championship Series. Each conference and independents will be represented if their champion is ranked amongst the Top 20 on the Selection Sunday rating. Only 16 teams qualify for the NAIA Football Championships Series. Teams in the series shall not be seeded or bracketed.
