Is there a cure for anorexia nervosa?
no there is no cure, anorexia is a complex disease like depression and anxiety, the individual can recover but may relapse and the illness can be at the back of the mind for life, there are ways wo help anorexia like therapy, within group, individual and family, if the anorexia is bad the person can be hospilatised but thats only in severe cases, if the person wants to recover they have to do most of it to help themselves, recovery is a very hard and lond process and the sufferer will need family and friend’s support but it is worth it in the end.
