Is there a cure for a dependent personality disorder?

all personality disorders are very hard to treat because they are so ‘ entrenched ‘ into the persons personality, there are even psychiatrist who still think severe personality disorders can’t be treated at all. most of the treatment for personality disorders are intensive psychotherapy or even regular cbt to change thoughts patterns, and gain insight into behaviour and help to change their behaviour . outlook and prognosis is whether or not the person has recognised they have a problem and are committed and willing to change, a lot of the severest personality disorders are virtually impossible to treat, however, hard work from the patient and a willingness to change behaviour, most of the milder personality disorders can be successfully managed over time and patients can recover to live normal, happy lives.
