Is there a correlation between track radius and the incidence of injury?
This is something that has never been proven. In the interests of animal safety, greyhounds are raced according to how well they do in certain track positions. Those who like to run close to the rail are called “railers”. “Middle seeds” like to run in the middle of the track and “wide runners” prefer to run on the outside. Generally bigger dogs are happier on bigger tracks.
