In 2005, CMA Canada partnered with U.K.-based Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), to offer the CMA-CPFA program to meet the unique needs of financial management in the public sector. More recently, CMA Canada and CIPFA are working together once again to sponsor the Award of Excellence for Comptrollership in the Public Sector, as a follow up on the establishment of their program.
