New York Sues Dell on Consumer Fraud Charge Dell Accused of False Advertising, Failure to Provide Services May 17, 2007 New York Attorney General Andrew M. If the technician comes from Dell itself then they should be responsible for that. You can complain it to Dell company without joining any action group because that’s their product and they always see to it that customers are satisfied just like any other company. They also have reputation to protect and to care and I don’t think they would be making non-compatible components. If that technician doesn’t come from Dell then he should come to Dell with you and state what he knows and you don’t just believe in him because you might be just in too hurry to decide now. Let the Dell know about your complaint so they can also express their side. Dell is not that easy to win over. It is a huge company and has also established reputation so that’s it. Complain it straight to them. When they approve what the technician has told you then they have ways to correct it or even replace it when they see they are at fault. Sources: OWN OPINION.
