Little Siagon Neighborhood This area is Orlando’s version of ‘Chinatown.’ There are various Asians who reside here, including Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean, Chinese and others. Recently, the eclectic area was threatened when a national chain drugstore tried to demolish a block of historic buildings and put up a superstore. The people banded together to curtail the event. The case is still in courts, so get here soon while the area still has its own identity. The only thing close to a ‘mega-store’ this place has is Dong-A Supermarket. The store has every Asian grocery item imaginable. It smells of dead fish (like many of these stores smell to non-Asians), but looks clean and appetizing.
