OEM child seat anchor kits are available to allow proper, safe, and secure installation of the anchors as well as the forward-facing child seat(s). There are kits for the 1st, 2nd and early 3rd generations. 3rd generations and Mazda3’s have factory installed ISOfix child seat anchors as well as conventional child seat anchors. More information can be found here. These kits retail for about $30.
